This is a pre-announcement for a future procurement of knitted garments that FMV intends to release according to schedule further below. No questions will be answered and FMV does not require any feedback on this pre-announcement. The provided information is only to prepare interested tenderers for the upcoming procurement.
FMV intends to procure the following knitted garments in a shared procurement using an open procedure. The products are divided into categories and interested tenderers will be able to submit a tender on either one, several or all of the categories. Depending on the outcome of the procurement, FMV intends to sign one or several framework agreements. The categories will be as follows:
• Socks
• Short underwear and T-shirts
• Field underwear and net-knitted underwear
• Thermal underwear
The specifications and models will be updated compared to previous procurements of these garments. They will however be similar in appearance to current models in the Swedish Armed Forces uniform system. The size system will be developed according to standard EN 13402-3:2017 Size designation of clothes – Part 3: Size labelling based on body measurements and intervals. Only preliminary measurement lists will be given in the procurement and finalized with the winning tenderer/s.
FMV intends to sign the framework agreement for 2 years, with options for prolongation of 1+1 or 2 years. Maximum duration of the agreement will be 4 years.
FMV has a preliminary plan to announce the procurement, including the Contract documents and Technical specifications on the products, sometime in the late autumn/early winter of 2018. Please check the FMV designated site for procurements (www.e-avrop.com) regularly for any updates.
The FMV is a commission-financed Government Authority whose main task is to procure goods and services for the Swedish Armed Forces and, as the case may be, other public authorities. As such, the FMV has no additional independently assigned budget for procurements.
Please note once again, this is just a pre-announcement. FMV does not answer any questions regarding the the future procurement at this stage. All relevant documents will be published togheter with the procurement annonuncement later this year.
