Omfattning
Region Stockholm is the regional authority responsible for public transport in Stockholm County, Sweden. As such, the Region provides public transport services through various modes of transport such as buses, boats, rail, trams and metro, and is also responsible for infrastructure development and expansions to support the needs of residents and visitors in the county.   The Region is currently engaged in an initiative aimed at reinvesting in the existing ticketing solution as well as supporting the expansion of the metro system. We are therefore in the process of initiating a procurement project with the aim of establishing a contract with a new supplier for speed gates by the end of 2026.   Prior to the public procurement, we are conducting a market investigation through a Request for Information (RFI) in order to better understand the current state of the speed gate market. We are therefore reaching out to you to ask whether you would be interested in participating in the RFI and if so, to kindly provide us with contact details regarding the relevant contact point within your company. The estimated contract volume is one thousand (1,000) speed gates over a five-year period including spare parts. 
We kindly ask you to submit your response through e-Avrop no later than 19th of May 2026.
